Welsh filmmaker Ryan Hooper has won the Cherry Bowl Member's Award with a total of 295 votes. His pitch impressed the judges and went on to win him the Jury Award as well!

'Negotiating Life' now forms the second phase of the Micro Movie Lab competition 'The Writer's Brief' which will ultimately be turned into a film.

Ryan also wins a share in the film's profits, a screen credit, £200, 1 year's NPA membership, 1 year's ANIMOTO membership and a one month work placement with Movie Mogul Ltd.

Congratulations also to Tom Hawgood with his pitch 'The Tomorrow Man' which came in second place with a very respectable 274 votes. A runners-up prize of £50 and 3 months ANIMOTO membership is on its way to you, well done!

"I would like to say a big thank you to all my friends and family for their support and votes. A special thank you to my mother and her students and to my girlfriend and her parents for their tireless campaigning. I would also like to thank John and the Movie Mogul Fund for offering a route into an industry that is notoriously difficult to break into, with an emphasis on artistic merit as opposed to industry connections. I look forward to reading some of the submissions for the Writer Brief."
